We are excited to announce that Cassopolis Public Schools is a proud recipient of the EPA’s Clean School Bus Program award. This award will allow us to purchase three new clean electric school buses for our students.
This rebate will allow school districts across the country to purchase electric school buses and charging stations. Our district is one of three schools in Southwest Michigan who were chosen to receive this award.
The arrival of these new buses will be a huge benefit to our school and students. They feature the most up to date technology and safety features. Electric buses reduce emissions and improve air quality. These buses are very quiet to operate, all of which will ensure our students are safe and comfortable on their way to and from school. Best of all, these buses are cheaper to operate than diesel buses and will save the school money on transportation costs.
